PowerView is built on the extremely reliable Bluetooth® Low Energy RF technology and, as with all RF communication, the Bluetooth range can vary based on a variety of environmental factors, wall construction, etc. The Bluetooth range also varies based on the control device—a remote command will extend further than a command from a phone or tablet, although the specific range will also vary depending on the device. A PowerView Gateway, or even multiple Gateways, may be easily added to extend the signal range.
